same as the Battle for Macragge Hobby set which included paints. The new edition is without the paints and the scenery pieces that were included in the Battle for Macragge box set. But in there place they have packed a good deal more miniatures, like a Space Marine Captain, 5 Terminators and a Dreadnought a total of $150+ value, and that’s just for the Space Marines! Assault on Black Reach is an impressive starter set, it’s defiantly an improvement on the Battle for Macragge set, which I still think was a great box set, but Assault on Black Reach is just that much better. It’s just a shame the release date is September and not August.

update on the new spray gun and washes
The release of the Spray guns and propellant as most of you would know has been moved back to maybe late August early September. The quality of the product was under question so as with all Citadel products; anything less than 100% is unacceptable. So the Spray guns have been recalled, and anyone with a spray gun from the first release please return it to your place of purchase for a refund. The problem was with the gun itself, so the propellant is fine (but useless without the gun, so you can get a refund for that as well id suspect) and the Washes are fine. We will keep you posted with release dates and product updates as we get them.

warhammer 40k 5th edition
The New Warhammer 40k rules are out and I must say I’m impressed. They have made a lot of alterations to the game play, but the changes make the rules system more streamline and exciting and ultimately more fun. But that’s not all, the 320 page Rule book also contains heaps of new artwork and plenty of hobby information. It’s a great read, pages upon pages of detailed background information on the 40k world and the art work as always, is fantastic. The rules did take a few games to get used to, but the changes are defiantly an improvement, a 10/10 from me.
